Yes, Euro Sportiva makes it possible for you to drive your dream car on the Autobahn, to French wine country, on a German castle tour or any destination within Western Europe while on your vacation or business trip.
How long has Euro Sportiva been in business?
Euro Sportiva acquired the exclusive North American marketing
and sales rights to the Scuderia von Ruschenberg Collection
in 2004, though the company has operated in North America
since 2001. The car collection itself, now up to 30 exotic
cars, was established in 1993 and is owned by a German corporation,
so the business is well established.
Tell me more about Euro Sportiva.
Euro Sportiva is a division of Club Sportiva. The parent
company, Club Sportiva, The Sports Car Timeshare, has a
fleet of over 20 cars with two Bay Area locations in San
Francisco and San Jose. Club Sportiva's members join and
then have the right to drive the cars at their leisure.
Along with the classic car collection, Club Sportiva has
a clubhouse which overlooks the Paddock of cars where hardwood
floors, leather furniture and other amenities warmly greet
its Members. Those members include Mario Andretti, NFL Hall
of Famer Dave Casper and Apollo 12 astronaut Dick Gordon,
among many other enthusiastic members.
Where do I pick-up and drop-off the car I rent?
Euro Sportiva's cars are arranged to be delivered and picked-up
at the airport, your hotel or other pre-determined destination
that are convenient for you. Delivery fees apply, based
upon the distance to the destination from where the vehicles
are stored, near Munich, Germany.
How do I know the specifics of driving the car?
Delivery includes a brief "driver control tutorial" covering
the basics of driving your rental car. Each car is unique
and Euro Sportiva's goal is for you to be safe and comfortable
immediately with the car.
How many cars are available?
Currently, there are roughly 30 cars available for rental. Predominantly, there is Ferrari, but we also carry models of Lamborghini, Bentley and Maserati. The fleet started with 10 Ferraris in 1993 and has continued to grow with demand.
What is the condition of the cars?
The condition is good. Newer cars are naturally in better
condition than older cars. Our rates, while reasonable,
are not inexpensive and as such, our service, as well as
the condition of the cars is first rate. During the booking
process, please inquire regarding the condition of the car
you are interested in reserving.
What if I need roadside assistance?
You will have 24/7 roadside assistance. During your time
in a Euro Sportiva vehicle, if you choose, you will be provided
a mobile phone (for an addional fee) from which you can
dial a representative in Europe. Our representative will
offer the appropriate service, depending upon your roadside
need. We have been renting exotic cars since 1993, so we
are familiar with providing assistance as needed.
Can I drive as fast as I please on the Autobahn?
Yes, and no. There are areas of the Autobahn that now have enforced speed limits. In non-speed limited areas, you are free to drive within the limits of the weather and your own capability. These cars have capabilities that exceed the skill of most drivers, which we ask that you keep in mind during your vacation rental. However, you have rented an exotic car for the experience of a lifetime.
What if I have an accident?
In the unlikely event of a wreck, you will be required to
call roadside assistance to report the accident. Standard
policy and procedure will be followed. Your deposit will
be used to cover the damage, though remaining damages are
covered with the auto insurance policy that is included
in your rental rate.
What is the minimum age to reserve a car?
Due to the nature of the vehicles, our rental policies include multiple screening factors. Minimum age is 30 and as well we verify motor vehicle records for tickets, accidents and DUI convictions. This screening process helps to ensure that our clients are safe and that the cars remain in great condition.
